SigmaTEK Copilot Programming
Copilot moves from answering questions to doing the work. Describe what you want in plain language and it carries out real programming actions inside SigmaNEST, with no hunting through menus and dialogs. It automates repetitive programming steps and shortens the learning curve for new hires.
Auto Complete
Finish jobs wherever you are in the process with a single click. Auto Complete runs the remaining steps of Auto Task, Auto Nest, Auto NC, Post and Report. You can still start manually and let AutoComplete take over.
Add Bridge by Dragging Line
Drag one line across the nest and SigmaNEST will bridge every part profile it crosses, instead of requiring a click per pair. The drag to add bridge feature has reduced clicks per nest from 24 in V26 to just 4 in V27.
Apply to Same for Tabs and NC Fillets
Apply to Same places a manual tab or NC fillet once and apply it to every matching contour in one click. You can target matching contours by rotation and extend placement across the current or all layouts in the task. Replace tedious part-by-part placements with one action.
Automatic Scallop and Corner Relief
Already using corner reliefs? Now apply scallop and corner-relief cuts to one part or a whole job from Part Mode. A live preview shows how internal and external corners will be treated before you commit. Reliefs can also be added with an Auto NC checkbox.
Selection-Based Replace Patterns
Trigger the Replace Pattern feature on parts or geometry that have already been created, correcting geometry without re-importing parts.
Smoother cutting
New tabbing options, faster complex parts handling, and built-in test cuts help keep machines running.
Perf Part Improvements
Perforated plate and other high-entity-count parts no longer bog down tooling, sorting and posting. On nests of parts with 2,000+ contours each, Tool Sort runs up to 73% faster and the reposition window opens 52% faster. Programs with 10,000+ entity DXF parts and high hole counts now post without crashing or hanging.
Grip Tab
A new tab type holds parts during cutting by gripping a piece of the skeleton without attaching to the plate. It is sequenced ahead of the cut, selectable in Auto NC and in manual and auto tab definition, supporting the Balanced Tab method in 2D.
3D Bevel Auto Tab
Rule-based automatic tabbing for beveled parts places tabs by edge, using contour size, thickness, bevel angle and edge length.
Sheet Auto Marking
Add a repeatable test-part cut and program-name marking to a nest from the Modify Task dialog. Verify machine settings before production, and mark each sheet for traceability during unload.
Wider machine and process support
Sort parts on more lasers, and program more tube and profile processes.
Introducing the new SigmaSORT, part-handler for laser
A modern, lightweight part-handler program for laser machines, SigmaSORT drives part removal and sorting on machines the native SigmaNEST part handler doesn't support, with out-of-the-box support for Trumpf SortMaster, Bystronic BySort and Amada rotating TK.
Post/Machine Import and Configuration Wizard
SigmaNEST unpacks zipped post files, registers the machine, and updates Operation Manager automatically. You may set the imported machine as your default.
SigmaSAW (formerly SigmaCTL): Partial, Double and Compound Miters
Create double and compound miter parts from CTL standard shapes with no physical model files needed, improving support for modern miter saws.
SigmaTUBE: multi-process programming
Assign drill parameters to tube parts and configure multi-process machines for drilling and tapping fully in the post, with turret management and automatic and manual tool sorting. The Milling/Drilling Tool Manager now works with generic posts, and steep-miter parts automatically flip the coordinate system.

SigmaBEND Import Enhancements
Building on V26's .polp import, Program Link now maintains a live link to the SigmaBEND file. You also get multi-part and assembly processing, batch import, and stored tooling data.
SigmaFAB: MYOB and Reckon integrations
New integrations connect SigmaFAB with MYOB and Reckon accounting softwares.
SigmaSHOP: rejected part email alerts
Rejected parts now trigger automatic email notifications from the shop floor.
